Cooking Shows Next Week (Sept. 21–27, 2026): Hell's Kitchen Season 25 Premieres Thursday
Hell's Kitchen season 25 premieres Thursday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX — that's the one appointment next week. Around it: Halloween Baking Championship's second episode Monday at 9 p.m. ET, two new Bobby Flay hours Tuesday, The Great British Baking Show landing on Netflix early Friday, and Halloween Wars Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
Six new competition hours in all, spread over four nights. Wednesday is blank for the first time since April 15, when MasterChef started its Global Gauntlet run; that season ended Sept. 16.

West Coast: both networks run these at the same local hour, so Food Network's Monday and Sunday hours are 9 p.m. Pacific and Hell's Kitchen is 8 p.m. Pacific. Only Central is shifted an hour earlier — that is what Food Network's “9|8c” and FOX's “8/7c” mean. Netflix is the exception: it drops at midnight Pacific, which is 3 a.m. Eastern.
Both Food Network runs are mid-elimination: Halloween Baking Championship is playing for $25,000, and Halloween Wars, an all-stars season billed “Back from the Dead,” for $30,000. Monday is the last long night of the baking season — two hours, then 90 minutes on Sept. 28, then straight hours through Oct. 19.
What's the biggest night next week?
Thursday. Hell's Kitchen has been off the air since January, and the field FOX has now named is 18 chefs with nobody older than 25 — nine men on blue, nine women on red. The premiere is built around the show's 25th season rather than a standard opening service, and it runs 62 minutes, so the hour bleeds a couple of minutes past 9. So does the only other episode FOX has listed so far — “A Tale of Two Kitchens” the following Thursday, Oct. 1. When does Bake Off hit Netflix in the U.S.?
Friday, Sept. 25 at 3 a.m. ET — midnight on the West Coast. Channel 4 shows the same episode in Britain three days earlier, Tuesday at 8 p.m. U.K. time, opening on Cake Week with a stout-cake signature and Nigella Lawson's first episode as judge. Netflix then holds Fridays weekly, and the week-by-week Bake Off table lists both halves of the schedule.
