Who's Coming for Christmas? Cast and Premiere Date
Who's Coming for Christmas? opens the third weekend of Countdown to Christmas 2026.

Who's Coming for Christmas? premieres Friday, Oct. 30, at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel, with Rhiannon Fish and Jake Foy in the leads. Fish plays Julie, a newcomer planning her first Christmas Eve dinner. Foy is Mark, the dad next door. Hallmark's page for the movie says it streams on Hallmark+ the next day, Saturday, Oct. 31.

The movie opens the third weekend of Countdown to Christmas 2026. It's the first premiere after What If Christmas, which airs the Sunday before.

Who's in the cast of Who's Coming for Christmas?

Three names sit on Hallmark's cast page, each with a first-name-only character. Nobody else is credited there so far.

ActorRoleYou may know them from
Rhiannon FishJulieThe 100 (Ontari); Home and Away (April Scott); Hallmark's When Love Springs, A Picture of Her, Remembering Love and You're Bacon Me Crazy
Jake FoyMarkRide (Tuff McMurray); Reign (King James); Designated Survivor
Mila MorganVanessaHome Before Dark (Ginny Lisko); Hallmark's Christmas at the Catnip Café, North to Home and The Holiday Sitter

Fish started out as a child actor on the Australian soap Neighbours, playing Lisa Jeffries, and later spent three years on Home and Away. Her network bio also puts her opposite Hunter King in the mystery Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths. That makes this at least her sixth title for the Hallmark family of channels, going by the bio's own list.

Foy isn't new to the channel either. He was Tuff McMurray, the bullfighting, country-singing frontman of Ride, made for Hallmark Channel and The CW. His bio says he grew up in Niagara Falls, Ontario, trained in musical theatre at Sheridan College and took part in the early workshops of Come From Away.

Morgan plays Mark's daughter. Her Hallmark bio lists three earlier movies for the network, so all three billed actors have been here before.

No director or writer is named on Hallmark's pages for the movie. TVLine's schedule rundown doesn't list them either, so we've left both out.

What is Who's Coming for Christmas? about?

Julie has just moved to a new town. She's furnishing her place with things her late grandmother left her, and the prize piece is a dining table that seats eight.

Her plan is to host Christmas Eve dinner at that table for the first time. One problem: she has no guest list. She trusts, the way her grandmother would have, that the chairs will fill.

She makes friends fast, including Mark and his young daughter Vanessa next door. Mark offers to bring his family, which would get her to eight. Then bad weather stops the relatives from traveling, and dinner is down to three.

That's the setup from Hallmark's synopsis, retold in our words. TVLine describes it more briefly, as a recent transplant honoring her grandmother with a dinner for eight. Who ends up in the other five chairs is for Oct. 30.
