What is My Christmas Cowboy about?
Meg gave up her newscaster dreams after a bad audition in college and now works as a news producer in the small town of Fern, Texas. Billy Kane, her former college crush and audition partner, became a Hollywood celebrity host and is close to losing his career after an on-camera slip. On his publicist's advice he heads back to Texas to lie low for the holidays with his sister and her family.
Meg is still sore about the audition, but the two keep running into each other because Billy's nephew is in the horse therapy program her father runs at their ranch. When her dad is injured before the ranch's annual Reindeer Roundup, Billy gets asked to host it, and Meg is the one who has to teach him to ride and rope. Hallmark says each of them helps the other step out of their comfort zone. We'll leave the ending alone.
