Mistletoe Murders Season 3 Cast and Premiere Date
Short version: Mistletoe Murders season 3 premieres Thursday, Nov. 5, at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel. Sarah Drew is back as Christmas-shop owner Emily Lane, and Peter Mooney returns as Detective Sam Wilner. Hallmark's showtimes keep it on Thursdays after that, with one catch on Thanksgiving, when it slides to 10/9c.
It's a weekly series, not a movie, so it sits between the weekend premieres of Countdown to Christmas 2026. Opening night lands four days after A Danish Christmas.

Those eight rows are the full showtimes list on Hallmark's series page, checked Saturday, Oct. 10, at 10:15 a.m. ET. The Thanksgiving shift has a simple cause: the network's page for the movie Christmas Delivered puts its premiere at 8/7c on Nov. 26, and the mystery follows it.
What about December? TVmaze lists six episodes, one per Thursday through Dec. 10, and it still shows the Nov. 26 hour at 8 p.m. Hallmark says 10, so we're going with Hallmark. The network's own list stopped at Nov. 27 when we looked, which means the Dec. 3 and Dec. 10 dates are listed, not locked.
If that holds, it's a slower burn than last year. Season 2 ran its six episodes as three Friday double bills on Nov. 7, 14 and 21, 2025.

Drew does double duty. Her Hallmark bio says she also executive produces the show. Mooney's bio has a tidy pattern in it: three seasons each on Rookie Blue, Saving Hope and Burden of Truth.
TVLine's season rundown adds two guest stars, Catherine Bell and Holly Robinson Peete. Hallmark's cast page showed only Drew and Mooney when we checked, so the guests' roles aren't posted there. The same rundown counts three new mysteries. TVmaze has them as two-parters titled Don't Fear the Wreather, We Three Kims and Mystery on 34th Street.
What is the show about, and where did season 2 leave off?
Emily runs Under the Mistletoe, a Christmas store that stays open all year in the tourist town of Fletcher's Grove. She also has a past she doesn't talk about. When a murder touches someone she knows, the skills from that earlier life come out, and Sam, the local detective, keeps noticing.
The series is adapted from an Audible Original of the same name. Deadline's renewal report from February says season 3 picks up after the season 2 finale, which closed with Emily and Sam sharing a romantic moment and agreeing to be honest about their pasts. We'll stop there.
Where can you stream Mistletoe Murders?
Seasons 1 and 2 are on Hallmark+ now. The series page says all episodes are streaming. For season 3, that page gave no streaming date when we checked, so we're not printing one. The Thursday premieres air on Hallmark Channel.
Where is Mistletoe Murders filmed?
Toronto, for the first two seasons. House Beautiful reported that season 1 shot there on a mix of locations, soundstages and backlots, and Hollywood North Buzz reported season 2 starting production in the city on March 31, 2025. Fletcher's Grove itself is fictional. House Beautiful says the name tips its hat to Jessica Fletcher of Murder, She Wrote.
Season 3 is not confirmed as of Saturday, Oct. 10. Hallmark's pages don't name a location for the new episodes.
