Winter Wonderlanes Cast and Premiere Date
Short version: Ashley Newbrough and Franco Lo Presti star in Winter Wonderlanes, which premieres Friday, Oct. 23, at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel. Hallmark's page for the movie says it streams on Hallmark+ the next day, Saturday, Oct. 24.
It opens the second weekend of Countdown to Christmas 2026, one week after 'Tis the Season for Setups kicks things off on Oct. 16. Here's who is in it, what the bowling-alley story is, what's known about where it was shot (nothing official so far) and each airing Hallmark has posted.
Who is in the Winter Wonderlanes cast?
Hallmark's cast page lists two actors and their characters. No supporting cast is posted there yet.
| Actor | Role | You may know them from |
|---|---|---|
| Ashley Newbrough | Audrey | Privileged (Sage Baker); Hallmark's Love Under the Stars and Small Town Christmas; Lifetime's Christmas Love Letter |
| Franco Lo Presti | Jason | Hallmark's 14 Love Letters and Unwrapping Christmas; Days of Our Lives and Tracker, per his Hallmark bio |
Newbrough is from Toronto and Lo Presti grew up in Scarborough, Ontario, according to their Hallmark bios. His bio adds a detail that fits a sports-themed movie: he earned a Division I soccer scholarship to the University of Rhode Island before he took up acting at 27.
Hallmark hasn't named a director or writer on its pages, and the TVLine rundown doesn't either. We've left both out instead of guessing.
What's the story?
Audrey comes home to help her grandmother sell the family bowling alley. Her plan is to bring back the alley's holiday tournament first, and that puts her back in the same room as Jason, her ex-boyfriend. That's Hallmark's own description.
TVLine's summary fills in the jobs: Audrey runs pop-up restaurants and Jason is a local reporter she dated in high school. TVLine also frames the goal as saving the alley, where Hallmark says selling it, so expect that tension to be part of the plot. We won't spoil how it lands.
Where was Winter Wonderlanes filmed?
Hallmark hasn't said where it was filmed. Its movie page, its cast page and TVLine's schedule piece don't name a location or even the town the story is set in. Both leads are Ontario natives, but that isn't evidence of where cameras rolled, so we're not reading anything into it. This section gets a location once the network or a local outlet reports one.
When does Winter Wonderlanes air again, and where can you stream it?

All five are on Hallmark Channel's page for the movie, checked Sunday, Oct. 4, at 10:13 a.m. ET. The Oct. 23 and Oct. 24 airings also show on Hallmark's day-by-day schedule. The November dates are further out and can still move.
The Saturday encore leads straight into that night's premiere, Forgotten Holiday, at 8 p.m. And one housekeeping note: Hallmark+ has no live channel, so watching the Friday broadcast takes Hallmark Channel through cable, satellite or a live TV streaming package.
